Description
The 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act introduced the most sweeping set of changes to securities laws in more than 70 years. Moreover, its impact spilled over into assurance requirements. If you are employed with, or prepare statements for, a public company, do you know what SOX means for you? Furthermore, the impact of SOX has not been confined just to the United States. Its regulations and proscriptions have been imported into Canada in the form of bodies such as the CPAB, by changes to CSA securities policies, and by changes to the way practitioners must treat their clients. This online video seminar covers the key aspects of SOX. It is recommended to anyone who is associated with a public company or practitioners who provide non-audit services, along with their assurance services, to clients.
