Excel Guru

It’s often said that you get what you pay for, and that can be very true. But in some rare cases, you can get much, much more. Ken Puls, CMA, Microsoft MVP for Excel, hosts the Excelguru.ca website, dedicated to providing tips, tricks, solutions, and training for getting the most out of Microsoft Excel.

In recognition of his contributions to the online community, Ken was awarded the prestigious Microsoft Most Valuable Professional – Excel award in October 2006; a distinction he holds to this day. The Microsoft MVP Award recognizes exceptional technical community leaders from around the world who voluntarily share their high quality, real-world expertise with others. (In fact, NASA has even made use of Ken’s site, using some of his examples to automate the process of creating PDF reports from Excel files which monitor the power supply levels on the International Space Station.)

In addition to the main site and his technology blog, Ken also hosts a full set of Excel forums at www.excelguru.ca/forums where you can get free help with your Excel questions, when and where you need it. The forum is staffed by some of the leading Excel experts in the world, and affords you the opportunity to learn new skills at your pace, practicing on your own real-world examples. This is hands on learning at your own pace — for free — what could be better?

Only one thing could be better … on-site training from the Excel Guru himself! As a CGA, you are eligible for a 10% discount on any full-day training courses. Find out more about Ken’s course offerings at http://excelguru.ca/node/108.
